Collaboration Failure At It’s Finest

July 16, 2013

This is a perfect example of why it’s a bad idea to ask questions in the workplace! It is a much better idea to assume that you know the correct answer and to act on your own, rather than risk losing brain cells over a conversation like this.

I needed to share this with someone; Anyone, even. So thank you for being witness to one of the biggest collaboration failures I have ever seen. The project is helping setup a local/region portal featuring local deals, events and whatnot. Groupons embed widget apparently sucks at life (doesn’t display anything) and everyone is wanting the deal / event aggregation to be automated.

Oh, and by the way….

Does anyone know any good deal aggregating websites that offer up an embeddable widget of regionalized deals? Preferably one with an affiliate program of sorts that plays well with the embeddable widget? Kinda need to figure that out…..
